Open a request for quotes: requirements, the tests they imply, and the laboratories officially qualified for them — each recipient kept with the evidence that justified selecting it. Answers are recorded against the document they came from and compared on price, coverage, declared turnaround and validity.

A human sends the request. ORSTYDE has no mail channel to laboratories: it prepares the request and records the dispatch and the reply. Nothing is sent automatically, and a quote is never simulated.

Engagements & observed performance

An accepted quote opens an engagement, and each step is recorded as it happens: the order, the milestones, the completion, the final price. From those records come the numbers you cannot buy anywhere — what a laboratory promised against what it actually delivered.

A human places the order. ORSTYDE has no ordering channel: an engagement starts in awaiting_order and stays there until an operator records a real order. Progress is never inferred — only what was recorded is reported.
