A truth layer for economic decisions.
ORSTYDE answers questions whose cost of being wrong is high and whose answer is scattered across official sources that do not talk to each other. It answers them in a form a person can audit and a machine can consume.
What it does today
Given a product and its target markets, ORSTYDE derives the applicable regulatory requirements, the tests those requirements imply, and the laboratories officially qualified to perform them. Every row carries a truth status and a provenance chain down to an archived official document, with its version, retrieval date and hash.
That is Network 01 — Compliance & Testing, and it is the only network that holds data. The others named on this site describe the architecture and are labelled planned. They are not sold, and no claim is made about them.
The stage we are at
ORSTYDE is in private beta. Access is by key. We would rather say that plainly than dress an early service as an established one.
The method
Rights before data
A source is served only once its reuse rights are documented and a primary proof is archived. Sources with unclear rights are registered and left unserved.
A status on every row
official_fact, derived_fact, inference or unknown. Nothing is published without one.
Unknown is an answer
Where the evidence runs out, the engine says so and states the consequence. It never closes a gap with a plausible sentence.
Append-only
Observations are never overwritten. A superseded value keeps its history, so the question “what was true on that date” has an answer.
Versioned results
Every answer is pinned to a dataset version and a rules version. Quote them and the same question returns the same answer.

ORSTYDE holds no price, lead-time, availability or performance data for any laboratory, and will not imply otherwise. Laboratories shown for a test are ordered by how much of the requested scope they cover, then alphabetically. That is not a ranking by quality.
