What we store, and what we refuse to store

Who is responsible

ORSTYDE is operated by Perpetua Group LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company whose registered and principal office is 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. Questions about this notice go to the address in the “Your rights” section below.

Website

• No advertising cookie, no third-party tracker, no analytics service.
• Page views are counted with a daily salted hash of the visitor's network address. The address itself is not stored, and the hash cannot be reversed to it after the day it was produced.
• No user agent string and no personal identifier is kept with those counters.

API and MCP clients

• API keys are stored hashed; the key itself is shown once, at creation, and never again.
• Each call is logged with a request identifier, the operation, the status and the duration, and with the client account it belongs to. Request bodies are not logged, and secrets are redacted.
• Business counters (analyses, orders, results) are kept per account for billing and for the funnel report.

Laboratories and suppliers

• We store public professional information: the organisation, its sites, the recognitions and accreditation scopes published by official registers, with the source document and its retrieval date.
• We store contact addresses only when they are generic role mailboxes (sales@, info@, rfq@…), with the page they were read from and the date. An address that looks like a named person is refused by the software, not merely discouraged.
• When you answer a request for quotation, we store your answer and the document it came from. Your prices are never published individually; see For laboratories.
• Retention: quotes, engagements and the documents behind them are kept for three years after the end of the engagement, because they are the evidence behind economic statements we publish as verified. Contact addresses are kept until you object; one e-mail removes yours, without justification.

Where the data is

Perpetua Group LLC is a United States entity (State of Wyoming). The service and its database are hosted in Frankfurt, Germany, and supplier documents are stored on the same server, in the European Union.

Our position is that contacting professional role mailboxes about a professional matter rests on a legitimate interest, and that the transfer arrangements applicable to a US-operated service must be documented before European suppliers are contacted at scale. This is our reading, not settled advice: it must be confirmed by a qualified professional before this page is published.

Your rights

Write to contact@orstyde.com to ask what we hold about your organisation, to correct it, to object to being contacted, or to ask for a contact address to be removed. We answer in writing. Removing a contact address does not remove the public accreditation facts that official registers publish about your laboratory — those come from the registers, not from us.
